Web activities

 

A number of web activities are integrated throughout the program. These include webquests, on-line shopping, travel arrangements and related tasks. In addition, students are encouraged to use web resources in filling in their cultural knowledge, both in English and in German.

Novice and Intermediate Low students need to have contextual background to understand new texts and the web offers an excellent resource. Google, Wikipedia, online dictionaries and translators need to be integrated intelligently. Students will use these resources no matter what the instructors say so we might as well train them to do it well.
